Laboratory Casework Applied Design

Presentation Description: Features a broad perspective of laboratory solutions from fume hoods to fixed casework to mobile and adaptable furniture systems. The presentation focuses on creating a lab based on a client or end-user's specific needs while exploring a variety of fixed and adaptable casework solutions along with the potential advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as differentiating between various fume hood solutions. Further, issues such as ergonomics, safety and energy conservation are addressed.
