Mott Manufacturing Commissions Plant Expansion of Wood Casework Facility in Maxwelton, West Virginia
April, 2011
Maxwelton, WV
Mott Manufacturing LLC announced today that it is expanding its plant in Maxwelton,
West Virginia to accommodate growth in its wood casework business.
"Our business continues to grow due to the hard work and dedication our team puts
into making the best wood laboratory furniture" said Edward Seegmiller, CEO of Mott
Manufacturing. "This expansion gives us the chance to not only increase production,
but also create jobs in the community."
The new addition to the manufacturing facility will significantly increase Mott's
production capacity and improve the overall flow of the production processes. The
expansion was fueled by the continued growth they have witnessed since starting
production almost two years ago. The new facility will enable Mott to successfully
meet the rapidly growing demand for their wood casework and to better serve their
customers around the world.
Construction began on April 18th. The expansion makes room for more production space
and upgrades to their flat line UV finishing system for improved staining capabilities.
The expansion is expected to be complete by July 1st, 2011. Mott moved into the
facility in February 2009, and this project expands the existing square foot facility
by over 40%.
