This installation was engineered for Fermilab, a premier U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory specializing in high-energy particle physics. The IERC is a cutting-edge research hub advancing scientific discovery at the frontiers of subatomic science — and the laboratory environment needed to be just as advanced.

This project featured a highly tailored solution combining functionality, flexibility, and precision engineering:

• Rear post infrastructure routes electrical, data, and plumbing from below — an engineered alternative to traditional overhead systems
• Custom horizontal raceway kept everything organized and accessible
• EdgeWave™ LED task lighting: wave-activated on/off sensor on top shelf and motion sensor on lower shelf
• Integrated grounding bar for electrical safety and compliance

• A mix of fixed units and mobile modules on heavy-duty casters for adaptable workspace configuration

• Engineered in collaboration with the client to support electrical, data, and fiber optics
• Stainless steel face with painted steel body, matching the lab’s durability and design needs
• Integrated grounding bar ensures equipment safety and performance
• Selected service drops feature a removable fastener system and cover plate, enabling convenient cable pass-throughs and future access without disassembly
• Finished with a neoprene gasket for a tight, clean, and durable seal
